Final Project - António Arroio

For this work, a brand was created from scratch and an original product made by me, this work is special because I have always liked manual work and DIY and being able to mix two fields was quite important for me. The candles are made of soy because the ones usually seen on the market are made of paraffin and are less sustainable and ecological, making soy candles a better solution.
The colors used green, blue and orange are cheerful and youthful colors that appeal to the target audience, being used in the packaging pattern and in the logo on the lid.
The box is white, appealing to a minimalist design and modern and the interior features one of the brand's colors, the same as the logo on the lid, drawing attention to its interior.
The brand was called STATERA, which means Balance in Latin, for the transmission of inner balance. The construction of the logo was inspired by the shapes of candles and the aesthetics are based on geometric shapes and rudimentary structures such as half circles, triangles and rectangles. In turn, the principles of symmetry and repetition were used.
3 patterns were created for the 3 packaging models: vertical, horizontal and square. With this methodology, each box is “unique” and personalized, but maintaining continuity in project communication. On the packaging, graphic shapes were created that represent the contours of the candle, to inform the consumer who watches is inside. The packaging presents other information such as being 100% wax of soy, being eco-friendly, the size and essence it possesses.
